I retired to Arizona from Syracuse, New York. BS in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz and MS from Syracuse University. Taught Art for 26 years. Now I teach the other side of the rainbow in SunCity. I volunteer at WHAM and teach occasional Alcohol Ink workshops and of course spend time with my grandk

Artist Statement

My first love was pastels. I learned from the best: Kitty Wallis, Nicora Gangi and Robert Cartsen. When I retired I finally began to explore other media. I really enjoy the speed and immediacy of acrylic. Color is my thing! The more there is the better for me. That tore me away from acrylic for awhile as I explored Alcohol ink . My fav subjects are flowers and southwest landscapes

4th Annual Artist by the Lake Fine Art Show and Sale

Exhibition

Over 250 original artworks for show and sale by local artists. Oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, mixed medium, pastel and alcohol ink. Artist demonstrations, raffles and a gift shop.
