The Arts HQ Gallery is seeking print artists for an upcoming Lasting Impressions exhibit at the Arts HQ Gallery in Surprise. The exhibit will run July 17 - September 10, 2026. The West Valley Arts Council and the City of Avondale are seeking Arizona Latino and Chicano-American artists to submit 2D artwork for consideration for the IMPRINT: Viva La Cultura AVONDALE exhibit at the Avondale Civic Center Library in Avondale, AZ. The exhibit will showcase the talent of local Latino and Chicano artists and correspond with Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibit will take place in the new City of Avondale Art Gallery near the entrance of the Avondale Civic Center Library located at 11350 W Civic Center Dr, Avondale, AZ.
The exhibit will run August 7 - October 20, 2026.
Artwork will be curated and installed on a cable system at the City of Avondale Art Gallery through the coordination of the West Valley Arts Council, and there will be a QR code point of purchase system for customers. The WVAC will accept 25% commission on any sales, with an artist earning the remaining 75%. Artwork sales will be closed out after the end of the exhibit and after all purchased artwork has been picked up by customers.
The West Valley Arts Council is seeking original artwork for an upcoming A Night To Remember World War 2-themed fundraiser at the Flite Historic Hangar in Goodyear, AZ. Chosen artwork will be on display and for sale throughout this exclusive ticketed evening event on Saturday, NOVEMBER 14, 2026. Artwork should represent the WW2 era from 1939-1945, using iconic themes of automobiles, airplanes, Rosie the Riveter, Pin-up Girl (moderate), and other social themes from that historic period. The art call is open to various 2D and 3D art media. Exhibited artwork will be displayed on easels or pedestals. Artwork must be suitable for a family audience.
The A Night to Remember event will be held at the large Flite Hangar located at 1300 S Litchfield Rd Suite 210F, Goodyear, AZ 85338. Featured artists will receive a ticket ($200 value) to the event, and chosen artwork may or may not be used for promotional materials for the event, and the artist will be credited.

Surprise Arts invites applications from performing artists and performing arts organizations to be featured in the Best of the West Fest, a new performing arts celebration presented by Surprise Arts, dedicated to amplifying the voices, stories, and talents of local West Valley performing artists. The festival aims to celebrate, support, and elevate professional-quality performing arts that represent the creative identity of the West Valley community, and to create shared cultural experiences that inspire community connection through performance. The inaugural Fall 2027 festival will aim to showcase a diverse lineup of performances and genres — including music, dance, theater, spoken word, puppetry, and comedy—presented at the Vista Center for the Arts in Surprise, AZ.
Become an Artist Member! Membership enables you to sell small artwork in our Arts HQ Gallery gift shop throughout the year (up to 24" and under $300/per item). Space is limited, so an appointment with our Gallery Director is required to review your artwork and schedule a time to bring in your work. The gift shop media is open to small paintings, prints, stickers, cards, sculptures, fiber art, glass, ceramics, jewelry, soap, and mixed media. Artist Members are also showcased in our annual Members' Salon exhibit at the Arts HQ Gallery at the end of the year, and can be considered for satellite exhibit locations and other artist opportunities. Exhibit media is open to a variety, but themes must be family-friendly. Membership is not required to submit to other open Art Calls.
