Make Music Day is a Global Celebration, Right Here in the West Valley! Originating in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it has since become a worldwide phenomenon celebrated annually in over 1,000 cities around the world. Celebrated on the summer solstice, it is a day dedicated to live, free music in all its forms. For one day a year, city streets, parks, and shops all over the world transform into stages for musicians. The West Valley Arts Council is proud to bring this international event to our region-connecting artists, venues, and communities through the power of music. The universal language. ☀️What To Expect…☀️ Live Performances Throughout the Day Family-Friendly Activities and Workshops Music in Unexpected Places A Celebration of Local Talent and Community
